“Focus on your present and do your best.”
Nan Ar Kyin Nar Moe joined the Vocational Food & Beverage Course because she had a passion for making food and drinks. Before joining the program, she studied for the GED at a migrant learning center in Mae Sot. She wanted to continue higher education, but her family faced financial difficulties. Because of this, she decided to build a vocational career that could support her future.
During the training, she became very interested in the bakery and beverage lessons. However, the bakery part was challenging for her because there were many steps and calculations. Sometimes she forgot the methods, but she did not give up. She took clear notes, reviewed her lessons, paid close attention in class, and practiced the menus again and again. This helped her remember the recipes and become more confident and unique in her baking skills.

After graduating from the Vocational Training program, she began working at Idea Café in Mae Sot. She has now been working there for one year. The skills she learned from VET training are helping her in her daily work and real life.
She encourages other young people with these words: “Focus on your present and do your best. You can start now. The results will come. Don’t feel like it’s too late, and never give up".
