"I can do everything and I will try my best."
Naw Moo Kyi's journey from Mae Sot to success is a testament to resilience and determination. Growing up in Mae Sot, she attended a migrant learning center until high school. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, she faced significant challenges with online education and struggled to maintain her motivation. However, when the opportunity arose to join the Vocational Education Batch-1 in 2022, she seized it with enthusiasm, recognizing it as a chance to build skills for her future.
Throughout her training, Naw Moo Kyi participated in workshops covering beverages, baking, and cooking, alongside valuable lessons in language, communication, and customer service. Although she initially struggled with language and communication, she refused to let these hurdles deter her. With the unwavering support of her seniors and friends, she overcame these challenges and now works as a barista at a café in Mae Sot, Thailand.
Before joining the vocational program, Naw Moo Kyi only aspired to earn a living. However, the skills and responsibilities she gained transformed her perspective. She now aims to become a trainer in beverage and service roles, eager to share her knowledge and enhance the experience for others.
Her message resonates with power and clarity: "No matter the obstacles you face, keep pushing forward toward your goals. Only you can create your own future." These words reflect Naw Moo Kyi's optimism and determination, serving as a beacon of inspiration for others on their paths to success.
Naw Moo Kyi extends her heartfelt gratitude to the Rays of Youth team for their efforts and support, emphasizing that the impact of their work on youth is truly invaluable.
