Kyi Shwe Oo  live in a migrant border area, and she has a passion for sewing. she learned about the sewing course through online sources. During the two‑month training period, she was taught embroidery, hand‑stitching, sewing‑machine skills, textile knowledge, and measurement methods in a systematic way. she also learned how to create patterns from the basics and how to design different styles based on pattern‑making skills.

For eco‑printing, she practiced hands‑on activities such as choosing fabric and creating designs using flowers, leaves, and other natural materials.

After completing the course, she continued practicing embroidery and hand‑stitching during her free time so that she would not forget what she had learned. With the orders provided by the training program and the design and logo requests from friends and acquaintances, she has started earning a new source of income through small handmade textile products. While doing other household work, she continue running this small handicraft business and has been able to earn additional income.

She is very grateful to the Rays of Youth organization for giving her the opportunity to attend this course. Being able to learn the handicraft skills she wanted to explore, free of charge, has been very beneficial for her. The teachers taught with full dedication, sharing all their knowledge, and this has become a meaningful and memorable experience in her life.
