“If you work to raise your abilities and truly believe in yourself, nothing is impossible. Even if it hasn't happened yet, one day it will.”

Naw Mu Ta Lung's journey from a student at Kwe Ka Baung Migrant Learning Center to a Project Manager at The Inclusive Education Foundation (InEd) in Mae Sot is a testament to the transformative power of passion and perseverance. Driven by her love for music, she joined the Rays of Youth Music Program from 2014 to 2016, where she immersed herself in guitar, melody, and vocals. Her dedication led to proficiency not just in playing but also in music composition.

However, her growth at Rays of Youth extended beyond music. Naw Mu Ta Lung developed crucial leadership, facilitation, and IT skills, including media production and video editing. The program became a nurturing environment where she honed her abilities, fostering personal and professional development.

Before joining, she struggled with self-confidence and lacked experience. But after completing the program, she not only mastered the guitar but also gained a solid understanding of music theory and notation. With newfound confidence, she applied her skills in her work from 2017 to 2019, further maturing along the way.

Today, she encourages young people to find clarity in their ambitions: “Before deciding what you want to be, first understand why you want to be that person. Ensure that what you’re doing now brings you happiness and that you truly love it.” Naw Mu Ta Lung believes in living with purpose: “We may not know what tomorrow holds, but focus on being your best today.”

Reflecting on her journey, she recalls, “A teacher once asked me what I hoped to achieve from the program. I wanted to do something that would benefit many people. Today, I can say that hope has been fulfilled.” She expresses deep gratitude to Rays of Youth for opening doors and guiding her towards success, wishing the same for future generations.
