"Educate, Believe, Continue – Success Awaits!"

For Naw Nu Nu Wah, joining the Peer Youth Leadership Program at Rays of Youth (ROY) marked a turning point in her journey toward personal and professional growth. As a student at Kwe Ka Baung Learning Center and CDC School, she applied for the program with a clear goal: to develop leadership and life skills while connecting with peers and mentors. ROY offered her more than just training—it provided a platform to meet like-minded individuals, build strong relationships, and gain the tools needed to succeed in an ever-changing world.

Throughout the two-year program, Naw Nu Nu Wah experienced remarkable growth. She developed essential skills in leadership, communication, and collaboration, shaping her into a more confident and capable leader. These skills not only enhanced her personal life but also empowered her to excel in her professional journey.

One of the most significant changes she noticed was a newfound sense of clarity and confidence. The program broadened her perspective, enabling her to engage with her community, advocate for important issues, and take an active role in public initiatives. It also taught her how to communicate and collaborate effectively—key strengths that continue to support her ongoing development.

Today, Naw Nu Nu Wah serves as the Compulsory Education Program Coordinator at BEAM Education Foundation. In this role, she applies the leadership and communication skills gained through ROY to create meaningful change. Her experiences have left a lasting impact, equipping her with the tools to succeed and contribute to her community.

Her message to the younger generation is clear: “Educate yourself and trust in your abilities, no matter what! Even when your efforts seem to go unnoticed, success will come at the right moment. Keep dreaming, stay determined, and make healthy choices along the way.” This belief lies at the heart of her personal motto: "Educate, Believe, Continue – Success Awaits!"

Reflecting on her journey, Naw Nu Nu Wah expresses deep gratitude to Rays of Youth for providing the opportunity that shaped her path. She credits the program not only for enhancing her skills but also for boosting her confidence and inspiring her to dream bigger. As she puts it, “ROY was truly life-changing. It gave me the tools to excel and become the person I am today.”
