Saw Thura Min Tin grew up in Myanmar with a strong interest in media, but he had no background knowledge or support to enter this field. When he learned about the ROY Vocational Education Training (VET) Program, he saw it as a chance to follow his passion and immediately decided to join the Media course.

During the training, he faced many challenges, especially with transportation. Every two weeks, he had to travel back to Myanmar to extend his border pass, which made it difficult to attend class consistently. In the first few months, his rental house was also far from the training center, so he had to wake up very early to reach class on time. Later, he moved to a place closer to the training center so he could focus more on learning.

His dream has always been to become a film director. Before joining the program, he did not have strong filming or photography skills. But through the Media course, he gained practical techniques, confidence, and a solid foundation in media production.

After graduating, he did not have his own camera, so he borrowed equipment from friends and worked hard to save money. Step by step, he built his own set of equipment through dedication and commitment.

Today, Saw Thura Min Tin works as a freelance videographer, focusing on event photography, wedding and pre-wedding shoots, and short film production. Since completing the program in 2024 with his friends, he has grown steadily in the media industry. Now he owns his own camera and continues building his career with passion and creativity.
